The Senate Republicans being so hard-headed, accomplishing nothing and resisting to advance Pres Trump’s agenda are going to get themselves thrown out of office in 2018. As Limbaugh explains it “will be the greatest self-sabotage event in history”, they will have no one to blame but themselves. Some like John McCain, Jeff Flake, Lisa Murkowski have really betrayed voters and really need to go.
The American people elected Donald Trump because they were tired of status quo, but DC likes status quo because it keeps them in business. The money pours in from lobbyists and special interests while Americans get screwed. They begged for majorities in the House and Senate, then argued they can’t get anything into law without the Oval Office. The people delivered, but Republicans are slow to act where those in the Senate are clearly failing to deliver, some are outright breaking campaign promises.
If they don’t get their act together when they return from Summer break, continue the bickering and stalemate the GOP majority in the Senate, but IMO also the House, will be over come 2018.
