Careful Bonnie that is a slippery slope you’re moving towards because if you are correct then the First Amendment only applies to newspapers and pamphlets. TV, radio, magazines, the internet and other mediums would not be protected according to your [failed] logic!

As for Joseph Belton’s flintlock the only thing left of it is this from 1777, but the weapon was a repeating flintlock designed to fire in rapid succession.
