DNC platform committee member, Bonnie Schaefer, wants to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and mentally ill but she also doesn’t ‘personally think anyone should have a gun’. That’s all fine and great but people don’t own guns to be problem solvers. People own guns for self-protection which is a God Given/ Natural right because criminals, terrorists and even the mentally ill couldn’t careless about this “philosophy” of hers.
If this is what the DNC platform committee is talking about, you can bank on a Pres Clinton doing everything possible to take away our gun rights. Pres Obama has tested the waters for her, and progressive states like Calif, NY and Conn have shown how far the legislature can go restricting gun rights.
What part of “shall not be infringed” do these people not understand?
