The NY Times is one of 300 US news papers who have been viciously attacking Pres Trump, going on and on that their freedom of speech/ press is under assault. The very publishing of said editorials this week and this very clip of the NY Times’ Michelle Goldberg is proof none of that is true.
The media has an incredible degree of contempt for the President and his supporters when they use this kind of rhetoric, associating the President with authoritarian dictators. POTUS has not done anything that would be deemed authoritarian, nor above the law to justify Goldberg responding to MSNBC’s Katy Tur that Trump ‘would certainly like to’ kill people!
This garbage is exactly why he attacks the media daily and the American people detests them. Trump is not the problem THEY ARE. These people are stirring the pot to cause another assassination attempt like the one we saw in Alexandria, VA, where 30 members of the GOP were attacked by an armed Bernie Sanders supporter.
The media is right someone IS going to get hurt, but it’s not going to be one of them. It will again be a conservative, member of Congress or the administration getting attacked over this kind of wishful thinking for the unhinged media.
This country is accelerating towards some kind of conflict unless the media backs off. They are the driving force for the hate for many within the DNC and pundits who clearly hate POTUS. It’s only 4-8 years people, suck it up. If the right was able to put up with Obama for 8 years you Leftist will survive Trump, otherwise the alternative is going to get quite messy leaving this country potentially divided indefinitely.
