In the good old days bullies were dealt with by simply being “called out” after school. A quick fight followed and many times a friendship. Today no, now we have to have the UN involved because our nation and kids have been completely wussified by political correctness producing a law that fines parents of bullies!
You know why bullies are the way they are? Very simple reason actually… they never got their ass kicked! Anyone who has, became humble and knows their limits, they know there is always someone bigger than them.
Think Back to the Future’s George McFly vs Biff Tannen… first time around George got bullied and pushed around having a mediocre life. Second time around, with the help of his son Marty (Michael J. Fox), he knocks Biff out with one shot and the future is much better.
Let kids duke it out it’s a good life-lesson for them! If it’s really bad then you get the school involved and take it further but teach kids it’s okay to stick up for themselves. The other option is playing out everyday with all these whiny babies complaining that their space is being violated and are offended because someone doesn’t agree with them that on some insane liberal policy.
We don’t need more laws, we need parents to teach their kids to have respect and to dish out punishment. We don’t need touchy feely sessions of “let’s have a talk, tell me your feelings”. NO sorry sometimes all someone needs is a good swift kick in the ass to knock it off!
