The proliferation of guns in the US is a threat to social justice!? Guys like Sen Blumenthal will use any excuse they can to take away our God-given rights in the name of their progressive agenda to control us and destroy the Constitution.
Background checks are already performed on gun sales through the DOJ. “Banning illegal trafficking of guns”? Senator you might want to take that up with Pres Obama and fmr Atty Gen Eric Holder! “Banning certain kinds of guns” that have no other purpose than to kill people? That would be all of them then wouldn’t it? What about banning knives, cars, ball bats, tools etc since all are used to kill as well!? I question the Senators “gun stats” and highly doubt we will ever see him debate Dana Loesch or John Lott Jr on the validity of his claims. It’s easier to lie and deceive than be truthful for progressives like Blumenthal.
Crime is down for the most part since the last few years of record gun sales. Why he is attacking gun rights in this speech is beyond me. One could only assume democrats are gearing up for another run against the Second Amendment. They are probably waiting for another loon (product of their policies) to go on a killing spree to attack 2A again!
