There is one adult in that room her name is Sydney Smoot and she is only 9 years old! Some are arguing whether she wrote this speech or not is up for debate but I wouldn’t doubt with how kids are being treated in public school system. Kids have become test subjects and punching bags for public schools that have become money machines for special interests like those who aim to profit pushing Common Core.. Jeb Bush, Bill and Linda Gates etc!
We hear it all the time how kids spend so much school time now prepping for all these standardized tests instead of actually being taught anything. Teachers and school boards are only concerned with making sure kids score well on a standardized test instead of making sure they actually comprehend material all in the name of funding and bonuses.
Wanna stop this? Get on the school boards and be that person to rock the boat. Let’s also do away with tenure. Accountants, engineers, sales reps etc etc do you have tenure? Why are educators given this form of job security even when they don’t produce good results?! Heck they spend majority of their time brainwashing kids as they slip their liberal views into daily lessons!
Let’s hope there are more kids out there like Sydney to show this nations future has a chance.
