Biden Says Man Who Stopped Texas Church Killer Should Not Have Been Armed With AR-15 [Video]

Former VP Joe Biden is on his whirlwind book tour speaking his mind and once again he stepped in it when he spoke about the Sutherland Springs, TX, First Baptist Church shooting. The same Joe Biden who said people should only have a double-barreled shotgun to fend off criminals and attackers said Stephen Willeford should not have had his AR-15!

You heard right, Biden said Stephen Willeford who stopped the church killer from continuing his murder spree, per law enforcement, should not have been armed with an AR-15! The bad guys will always have weapons, no matter what law is passed, yet this guy wants to run for President in 2020, doesn’t want people to be equally armed to protect themselves and family.

Side note: “Assault weapon” is a made up term by democrats 25+ years ago when they pushed the Assault Weapons Ban through, that Biden takes credit for here. They like to conflate semi-automatic weapons with fully automatic military weapons, and it’s just not true. One costs around $500, the other $10,000 + $200 tax stamp and a secondary background check through the ATF. So when you hear someone like Biden say, people shouldn’t have assault weapons they’re being deceptive to advance their anti-gun political agenda. The AR-15 was originally produced in 1963 as a hunting/ sporting rifle!

Stephen Willeford was clear in his first in-depth interview that had he not had his AR-15, he would not have been able to stop the killer:

“I don’t feel comfortable saying it just anywhere, but maybe with you guys. If I had run out of my house, and maybe this is a political plug or whatever, but if I had run out of the house with a pistol and faced bulletproof vest and Kevlar helmets it might have been futile. And I ran out with an AR-15 and that’s what he was shooting the place up with.  I hate to politicize that, but that’s reality.”
