Democrat Rep Maxine Waters preached to the Westchester-Playa Democratic Club, at the Holy Nativity Episcopal Church in LA, following the deportation of DREAMer Manuel Montes, that the US ‘is their [illegal aliens] country’.
What the congresswoman neglected to tell attendees of the meeting is that this DREAMer, aside from being in the US illegally, has a criminal record! This would be model citizen and current “poster child” for democrats push on illegal immigration went “into Mexico and climbed a fence to get back into the United States. Additionally, he admitted under oath he had done so. Additionally, his DACA status was expired.”. Montes also has “multiple arrests, including for shoplifting”!
The US is not DREAMers country because they are not here legally. If anything they are “guests” thanks to the Obama administration pandering to the Hispanic community for votes. If what Rep Waters claims is the true feelings of DREAMers, why have they done nothing to change their status? They are going to school, working “contributing” as Waters suggests, yet have no time to go to immigration to take the necessary steps to make things right and become a citizen?!
Maybe when DREAMers start showing some respect to American citizens they’ll get some sympathy. This kind of rhetoric and misinformation from democrats is why no one on the right trusts them.
